ASAMI IDA

ーProfile

Asami Ida is a dancer, choreographer based in Japan.

Asami was born in Toyama, Japan, where she began her dance training in Tsukuba University. During that period, she won the1st prize for International Modern Dance Competition in Vitebsk. In 2013, She got scholarship “Program of Overseas Study for Upcoming Artists”. She trained in Maria kong in Israel, 1 year later she joined Maria Kong.
In 2019, She start working in Japan. She was appointed the residence Choreographer of Dance house Kogane, in 2020, appointed the residence Artist of Toyohashi Art Theater PLAT 2020.

Also She is the therapist of Ilan Lev Method.

She presented works at the “Dance Week In Jerusalem” in 2017-2018, “Aramat Menashe Festival”, Israel in 2018, “QQUINZENA DE DANCA DE ALMADA”, Portugal in 2018, “The Japan Foundation” in 2019-2020.
